We decided an interview was needed especially as we drive to the end of the year...

What inspired you to get into music?
When I was about 4 years old, my parents always said that I would probably become a singer when I grow up, because I was always singing along to the songs playing on TV. Later, at age 11, my mom sent me to Music School. Learning the classical guitar was enjoyable for a couple of years, but I decided I wanted to play electric. Luckily for me, my mom gave me the money to buy one, and I immediately formed my first band. We practiced in our kid’s room with a line-up of me playing guitar and a school friend on bass. My younger brother started on drums, a set my mom had organised, but eventually, he lost interest, so I picked up the sticks too. It was at that point I knew I could do everything myself, to create the songs and music I wanted. Throughout my musical life, I met many amazing musicians who always pushed me to do what I really want, at least with music. How would you describe your music?
I would describe my music as melodious rock-pop with many influences not caring about current trends or fashions.
As a teenager in the mid-80s, I was listening to AC/DC, Kiss, and Queen. There was lots of other music I liked, but my wall was full of posters and photos of those bands. I did also admire The Beatles for their amazing songs. Prince was an artist I really got into later. Especially as he was doing the music alone. I remember thinking if he can do it, so can I. Other artists that influenced me were David Bowie, The Zombies, Mike Viola, my friend Ben Patton, The Beach Boys, Abba, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, and many others.

What would you say is your recording and songwriting style?
I like melody and harmony, I want to be musically surprised when I hear a new song. I think all that shows in my own creations. I never actually copy anything but I’m much inspired by others. I also never played in a cover band, that was a taboo when I grew up. So I can not play other people's music, although I have tried it lately. Who knows what will inspire me in the future... But as long as I can remember, I played in bands that created their own songs.

What future projects are you currently working on?
I'm currently working on a new LIVE show.

Where can music fans listen to your music?
My music is available on all online music sites and platforms. From Spotify to Apple to YouTube to Amazon, etc.
